Here I am, writing about the sunny days from beautiful Barcelona. Should I mention that this city is my favourite by the all that I have visited so far? A city full of life, with welcoming and cheerful people, a lot, but A LOT of places that you have to visit, beaches, a wide range of stores, and bars, where you can find sangria (alcoholic soft drink based on wine with fruits). A few reasons to make you visit Barcelona, but if you are not convinced yet, scroll on this page and see my Spanish experience.
We stayed in this city for 4 days, but we had plenty of time to visit the most important tourist spots, like La Rambla, Plaza Catalunya, La Pedrera, Casa Battlo, Sagrada Familia and more. The apartment that we rented was near Sagrada Familia, like 5 minutes away, where it was also a bus and a metro station, being easier in this way to take from one place to another. We were a group of 8 people and paid about 30 euros/person for 3 nights, and the apartmanet, I would have liked to live there.

The view from the apartment’ s roof, and me, trying to pose fashion with Sagrada Familia in the backround :)) .
There is a picture from our apartment’s staircase(cardio when you can’t hit the gym), and another one with me and my little sister.
Our first day started by seeing Spain’s the most emblematic touristic spot, Sagrada Familia. Gaudi’s artwork impressed me by grandeur and the beauty of combined gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms. Even if this cathedral is still in construction ( from 1882, Gaudi saying that his ” client is not in a hurry” ) if you are in Barcelona, there is no way to no visit it!

An easy way to visit the city and see all the important places is to buy a bus subscription, and in this way you can stop at every landmark. And let’s be honest, not just the children are excited about traveling by double-decker! In many locations we didn’t even get off the bus, being too tired due to heat, but we ticked on our list what we wanted to see in Barcelona, just by staying on our sits.
Some photos taken from the double-decker. In the last pic is my father aka Sleeping beauty
Another thing that had an impact on me was The magic fountain of Montjuic. The light show and all the people from there made me feel like at the Disneyland parade.

Casa Mila, Gaudi’s another artwork is in top 10 tourist attractions because of it’s original style and curvy forms.
My favourite place was, of course, La Rambla, a boulevard full of big names shops, known all over the world. What thing can be more wonderful for a girl than a shopping day?

The last, but not the least touristic spot was the Barcelona Aquarium, which for my surprise, wasn’t so magnificient like I have imagined. I saw some sharks and a lot species of fish, but the tour itself was so short and a little bit boring. I did not make pics, but if you want a different experience, this place is nice to see, especially for kids.

The next stop will be in Cote d’Azur, so stay tuned to see some extravagant places.
