It is located on the southern rim of the Tennengau region south of the city of Salzburg.
Golling is my favourite place to be in the winter. For several years me and my family, are going to the same hotel, which is decorated in German style, being very cozy, detached from stories. The rooms were also cute and spacious and there was plenty of tasty food.
What I liked the most from our trip, were the poker nights played in family, that really was quality time spent with the loved ones, even if we were in a competition.
If you want to feel a real winter, I suggest to you to come in this area, where the snow is like in Santa’s land.
The best part about Golling is that is near to many ski resorts, so we chose different slopes each day.
After kilometres of skiing, the breaks from the base of the mountains were welcomed, the ski boots being so unconfortable, that’s why I want that the next time to try snowboarding.

…or a hot chocolate
What a better treat after a long day on the mountain than a spa day? The pool, the sauna or the massage get the cold out of you and offer you quiet and peace.
Because my journey comes with an end, the next article will bring us back at my home, in my Romania. Not my vacantions will come with an end, just the blog, because my shame doesen’t let me to be so open, but I really liked to share with you some thoughts from my experience with traveling!
